We are thrilled to share the success of this year's Founder's Day! The entire school community came together for a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared sense of purpose. Students and staff alike enjoyed participating in a variety of activities that made the day truly special. Some of the standout moments included the ever-popular dunk tank, where brave volunteers took the plunge for a good cause, and the high-energy bubble soccer matches that had everyone on their feet (or off them!). The lolly shop was a sweet treat for all, and the Mario Kart tournament brought out some friendly competition, with cheers echoing throughout the Theatre. But beyond the fun, Founder's Day was also about giving back. Thanks to the generosity of our College community, we raised a significant amount of money for the organisations and charities we support in Kenya. This incredible effort will make a real difference in the lives of those in need, and we couldn鈥檛 be more proud of the contributions made by our students and staff. Thank you to everyone who participated, and supported this fantastic event, with a massive thank you to the staff for facilitating and supervising the activities. Founder's Day 2024 will be remembered as a day of joy, unity, and meaningful impact. Investiture of College Captain, Vice Captains and Prefects During a solemn and beautiful Mass presided over by Father Greg Skulski, the College welcomed the prefect body for 2024/2025. Each prefect's badge was blessed and ceremonially pinned onto their blazer by a parent. At the conclusion of the Mass, the 2024/2025 College Captain and Vice Captains were announced. William Lynch - Captain Harvey Olsen - Vice Captain Max Oteiwi - Vice Captain Maxwell Bayss - Prefect Lachlan Herd - Prefect Kaine Hieber - Prefect Tristan Jackson - Prefect Chiko Katsande - Prefect Jesse Mantell - Prefect Kaden Old - Prefect Lisitoa Paea - Prefect Lachlan Renton - Prefect Michael Sikuka - Prefect Logan Treble - Prefect Marcus Tredwell - Prefect Lawrence Ure - Prefect During this moving ceremony, the students performed a selection of hymns that created a prayerful and reverent atmosphere. Special thanks to our music staff for their dedication in preparing the musicians. The performances were outstanding, showcasing the many hours of hard work put into preparing the songs.
